On February 10th, long time resident of Kenthurst "Australian Grand Champion Feenix Fair Star" claimed his twentieth Speciality Best in Show when he won Best In Show at The Cocker Spaniel Society of New South Wales Championship Show under Penny Lester of Quettadene Cockers UK. Max a blue roan is owned by Sue McFadden (Glenbriar) in partnership with his breeder Ken Daniels (Feenix). Max who is now seven lives with and is handled by Sue. Last year Max won the English Cocker Spaniel National Championship Show which had a record entry for English Cocker Spaniels in Australia.
On the 25th of February another resident of Kenthurst "Australian Champion Glenayden Edged In Gold" won Best in Show at the Canberra Royal All Breeds Championship Show under Sylvia Bunting - Mossdew Cockers UK (Breed) and Keith Simmons from New Zealand (Group and Best In Show). Oliver a red and white by Penellan The Minstral out of Glenayden Fire N Ice is owned by Ann and Dennis O'Keefe and was handled by Ann. Oliver had previously won a Best in Show at The Cocker Spaniel Of NSW Championship Show under Molly Robinson - Craigleaf Cockers UK.
