The society hosts 2 Championship shows each year in Easter and since 1984 we have held a Contest Of Cockers event. Point Scores have had a checkered history and we have settled into holding Obedience point scores for Novice, Open & UD and Puppy Of the Year & Opposite Sex Puppy of the Year Point Score competition and The Lambrigg Trophy, for the most successful exhibitor for the year at the NSW & ACT Cocker Shows.
The Society ensures a large presence at the yearly Sydney Pet Expo, generally held in November, which sees members staffing an exhibit with their dogs over a 3 day period talking to the public and generally highlighting our wonderful breed.
When possible we also have a members' day, for new & old members where we can share information on breeding, showing, grooming, obedience, handling & just enjoy our dogs. These are usually held in October.
Club meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of every second month. at St. Marys RSL, corner of Mamre Rd. and Hall St., St. Marys commencing at 7.30 pm. Any Agenda items from Members need to be in the hands of the Secretary no later than 7 days prior to the meeting. Note - Due to the current health situation meetings are being held on-line.
All members & friends of members are welcome.
Please confirm with the society’s secretary the scheduled meeting you wish to attend. See the Contacts page.
