Welcome to the Cocker Spaniel Society of NSW

The society hosts 2 Championship shows each year in Easter and since 1984 we have held a Contest Of Cockers event. Point Scores have had a checkered history and we have settled into holding Obedience point scores for Novice, Open & UD and Puppy Of the Year & Opposite Sex Puppy of the Year Point Score competition and The Lambrigg Trophy, for the most successful exhibitor for the year at the NSW & ACT Cocker Shows.

The Society ensures a large presence at the yearly Sydney Pet Expo, generally held in November, which sees members staffing an exhibit with their dogs over a 3 day period talking to the public and generally highlighting our wonderful breed.

When possible we also have a members' day, for new & old members where we can share information on breeding, showing, grooming, obedience, handling & just enjoy our dogs. These are usually held in October.

Our Patrons

Julie Gotch
Barbara Killworth

Meetings are generally held on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December) starting at 7:00 or 7:30 pm at Penrith Panthers, Mulgoa Road Penrith.

All members & friends of members are welcome.

Please confirm with the society’s secretary the scheduled time and location of the meeting you wish to attend. See the Contacts page.
